In order to meet the travel demand and ease passenger congestion at Tan Son Nhat International Airport during the peak period of the Lunar New Year (Tet) 2025, the Civil Aviation Authority of Viet Nam, in collaboration with the Department of Transport of Ho Chi Minh City, will organize passenger transfers as follows:
Implementation Time
From 09:00 on January 23, 2025, to the end of January 27, 2025 (from the 24th of the 12th lunar month to the 28th of the 12th lunar month);
From February 1, 2025, to the end of February 5, 2025 (from the 4th of the 1st lunar month to the 8th of the 1st lunar month).
Operating hours: 24/7.
Passenger Transfer Plan
Two shuttle buses will be stationed at the existing bus stop area in Lane B of the International Terminal, from columns 12GF to 15GF, and at the passenger pick-up points at B6 and B20 in Lane B of the Domestic Terminal.
Upon receiving a request to clear passengers from Tan Son Nhat International Airport, the shuttle buses will operate with the following route: starting from the International Terminal's Lane B, pick up passengers at B6 and B20 in Lane B of the Domestic Terminal, head to the parking lot on Bach Dang Street, and then return to the International Terminal.
The shuttle buses will operate as a free service for passengers and will display bilingual information in Vietnamese and English with the message: “Free shuttle bus to Hong Ha Street, Bach Dang Street.”
The Civil Aviation Authority of Viet Nam hopes that passengers traveling to and from Tan Son Nhat International Airport during the peak Tet period in 2025 will actively seek information through public media, signage at the airport, and cooperate with airline staff to use the free shuttle bus service quickly, safely, and efficiently./.
